Hello and welcome to jakepeters.co.uk! I intend to use this site as a showcase of my personal and professional interests, primarily as a platform to use for blogs about things that interest me. As of the time I’m writing this paragraph I have no idea what this site will eventually evolve into, but I will try to make it at least mildly interesting and vaguely humorous, so I hope you choose to stay a while!

A little about me: I’m a 21-year-old student studying towards the degree of Master of Electrical Engineering degree at Loughborough University, set to (finally) graduate this year.

When I’m not studying (a significant portion of the time), I freelance as a consultant in a variety of fields including computing, design and coffee. Coffee is a huge passion of mine, and I love the process of making it and of course consuming it. I have a lot of ideas for the coffee industry, so I think that’s probably what I’ll end up doing when I graduate. Also, I’ve always wanted more than one degree, so I’d imagine there’s also another of them on the horizon, just as soon as I’ve recovered from this one!

I hope you enjoy reading my musings. Feel free to contact me with any queries or comments you may have (opportunities of work would also be warmly welcomed)! I enclose for your viewing pleasure a picture of a lamb created by my fiancé – he deserves a special mention as one of the few people who puts up with me every day. If you’re at all interested in graphic design (specifically pixel art) then give his site a look! You can get there by clicking on the image.
